Recent cyber-attacks targeting healthcare organisations highlight the sector’s vulnerability to malicious activities. To address these challenges, a new risk assessment solution has been developed to evaluate the security status of critical cyber systems, particularly in healthcare. This tool is based on the RETENTION Continuous Security and Privacy Assurance Platform and enables both local stakeholders, such as hospital IT staff, and external parties to assess their organisation’s cyber risk profile.
Beyond quantifying risk, RAMA facilitates comparative analysis against average scores, fostering a culture of ongoing improvement in cybersecurity practices. The effectiveness of this solution has been demonstrated through its deployment across real-world healthcare IT infrastructures. This underscores the importance of addressing cybersecurity risks in healthcare and emphasises the value of innovative solutions in protecting sensitive health information and bolstering the sector’s cyber resilience.
